Croatia Procedure & Dates

Croatia has just started to look for songs! Esctoday reports that:

* HRT just made an open call for songs by local artists only - alongside 10 composers invited by them.

* The invited composers will go directly to the final.

* Semi final on 27.02.2009 and the final the next day - 28.02.2009.

* Deadline is 12.12.2008

* 14 songs chosen to compete in the semi final, with the televoting qualifying to the final 6 of them.

* The Final will consist of 6 Semi final qualifiers plus the 10 invited authors entries.

* Winner selected 50:50 by televoting & juries.

Croatia Sets Dates!

Croatia just announced their National final dates (DORA):

The national final will include 1 semi final leading to a final: 27.02.009 &
28.02.2009 and will be hosted once more in Opatija.
Esctoday mentioned that the venue still to be notified while on the NF Homepage it was mentioned that it will take place on the Crystal ballroom of Hotel Kvarner)
