Malta Lineup

Malta released the name of the artists that will take part in this years national final selection process!

Esctoday reports that those 56 entries has just being announced by PBS (Maltese broadcaster)



* Among them i am surprise to see Chaira from Eurovision 1998 & 2005 which almost took the prize in 1998 (in 1998 luckily she didn't !! cause we deserved it more than anything else) and in 2005 she got to be the runner up.

* A lot of formers from previous Maltese NF will try again like Claudia Faniello - "the sister of" Rosman pace, Eleanor Cassar and some more.

* Part of it some experienced song writers from the past will take it out like Borg & Vella (Malta 2002,2004,2007,2008) are in the race and they have a couple of songs - and also Ralph Siegel trying again to sneak into Malta.

* Selection starts of 08.11.2009 with the show "Eurobox" (15 songs will be selected by juries and 5 by televoting qualify for the final on 07.02.2009).

* If a Singer (not sure about composers) qualifies with more than one song he must chose between the two (or more), the union in Malta of artists tried to drop this rule - but PBS refuses budge from it and couldn't be convinced otherwise.
