Malta is getting ready for a long journeyMalta this year unlike Denmark who decided to do it short & to the chase decided to take the long way to find their representive to this year's contest.
10 Semi finals will take place between November and January and 80 songs will participate in them. 15 songs will be choosen for the final by the jurries and another 5 will be choosen by the televoting of the audience.
The Final will be held in 20/02/09 with 20 songs participating which will be voted in 2 rounds:
In the first round the jurries will select the top 3 songs to go on to the second round where the winner will be choosen by Televoting & Jurries.
